Gary concentrates his practice on commercial real estate leasing, financing, acquisitions, and dispositions. He has represented clients ranging from individual investors to a Fortune 20 Company to a state pension fund in a wide variety of office, industrial, multi-family, and retail projects.

Prior to joining SPP’s real estate team, Gary represented a real estate investment group where he handled multiple commercial transactions from inception through closing. Prior to that, Gary served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for a commercial bank located in Central Ohio where, along with responsibility for day-to-day operations, he handled all commercial loan transactions and managed the bank’s REO portfolio. Gary spent the early years of his legal career with two large, regional law firms where he worked on numerous multi-state loan transactions.

Gary graduated from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1997 and was admitted to the Ohio Bar that same year. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
