Will joined SSP's real estate group in 2014, after graduating from University of Cincinnati College of Law. Will has always had an interest in business, and continued his education after law school to obtain an MBA. Will's business background allows him to approach legal issues from a unique perspective, with the ability to quickly understand a client's practical business concerns and tailor legal solutions accordingly.
He counsels clients on a broad range of real estate and corporate issues. Will's clients include financial institutions, small businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, developers and real estate brokerages. Will, along with the real estate team at SSP, regularly assists clients with all aspects of real estate ownership transactions - from due diligence, financing, and acquisition, to development, construction, leasing, operation and eventual disposition. The complexity in such matters ranges widely - from the preparation or review of a single family residential purchase contract to the negotiation and closing of complex hotel development and financing projects.
While in law school, Will's externships included positions with a Fortune 500 company, a Federal Judge in the Southern District of Ohio and a New York based real estate developer responsible for major projects, including the Cosmopolitan Casino of Las Vegas. Will also represented local small businesses during his time with UC's Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic during law school, and now volunteers as an attorney advisor for current ECDC students.
Will lives in Mt. Adams with his wife, Abby, and their Weimaraner, Specter. During his free time, Will enjoys fishing, skiing and hiking.
